Beginning a month before the end of the season – and with assistance from John Bailey of Clitheroe-based Bailey Developments Ltd – work is under way on improving the surrounds and drainage of the Parish Council pitch.

Once the season ends, the work will continue with re-seeding, fertilising and slitting of the pitch.

A "Changing Rooms" day is planned as well, where the club's changing rooms will be renovated.

It will take the club's recent fund-raised investment to nearly £2,000.
